Who We Are:
Founded by veteran and business leader Andrew Jenkins, Big River Benefits was born out of a deep frustration with the healthcare system. Andrew experienced firsthand how broken the system had become — as a husband to a DPC doctor, as a veteran navigating care, and as a business professional trying to make sense of the insurance landscape.
He saw families and businesses drowning in red tape, rising costs, and confusing plans — and decided to build something better.

Andrew Jenkins
Andrew’s journey began in the U.S. military, where he developed a deep respect for integrity, and service. After transitioning into the corporate world, he saw firsthand how confusing and impersonal employee benefits could be — especially for small businesses and families.
When his wife became a DPC doctor, the pieces clicked.
Together, they realized that employers and clinics could work together outside of traditional insurance models to bring clarity, cost savings, and better care to the table.
Andrew now leads Big River Benefits with a mission to make this model scalable — one business, one clinic, and one family at a time.
