A Broken System. A Better Way.

“I started Big River Benefits because I saw firsthand what happens when good people fall through the cracks of a system that’s supposed to care for them.”

I’m Andrew — a veteran, a husband, and the founder of Big River Benefits.

Healthcare was never supposed to be this hard.

As someone who’s navigated both military and civilian healthcare systems — as a patient, a family member, a father, and now a business owner — I’ve experienced the frustration from every angle. I watched employers drown in rising premiums, families skip care due to cost, and doctors burn out trying to do the right thing in a system built to say no.

Then I discovered Direct Primary Care (DPC).
And everything changed.

My wife is a DPC doctor. She chose this path so she could care for people, not paperwork. Seeing her rebuild trust with patients — giving them time, access, and real answers — showed me what healthcare could be. It lit a fire in me.

That’s when Big River Benefits was born.
